Join our tour of the Southern Valley of Cusco<\/strong>, a half-day trip that will take you to the archaeological parks of Tip\u00f3n<\/strong>, where the impressive channels and water fountains stand out, and Pikillacta<\/strong>, a city from the Wari civilisation (pre-Inca civilisation) \u2014 Pikillacta<\/em> is a Quechua word, meaning “the town of fleas”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tour also includes a visit to the colonial church of San Pedro Ap\u00f3stol in Andahuaylillas<\/strong>, home to the famous “Sistine Chapel of the Americas<\/strong>“. In this church, the religious fervour and the \u201cfear of emptiness\u201d experienced by the artists who decorated it led them to cover every corner of the temple. This fear resulted in the creation of the most significant expression of what is known as Andean Baroque.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
