Discover the most bohemian neighborhood of all Lima: Barranco, a super picturesque quarter where many famous musicians, poets, writers, painters and sculptors love living, especially in the 20th century. During this excursion, you will explore the republican streets, old houses and most important squares, you will also visit the Pedro de Osma museum.

Meeting Point

We will meet outside the Osma museum or at your hotel (only on special request).

Visit the Pedro de Osma museum — interior visit

This museum contains the best collection of the most important viceregal art in Peru, it has painting rooms from the famous Cusco school of art which is characterized by the use of exclusively religious themes, abundant use of gold leaf, abundant representation of the Virgin Mary,  frequent use of the red, yellow and earthy color.

Explore the main square of Barranco

Visit the Bridge of Sighs — Puente de los Suspiros

This bridge was built at the end of the 19th century because there was the necessity to join the two ends of the ravine. It’s currently the most visited and romantic bridge in Peru due to its design and surrounding landscape.
