HIGHLIGHTS

5:00 Meeting place

5:00 approx: At Larcomar, right in front of the Marriott Miraflores hotel. There will be no other meeting point unless you pay an additional cost for pickup from your hotel (see pricing section).

5:30: Transfer from Miraflores to the Balneario of Paracas

9:30 approx: Visit of Ballestas Islands

Once we arrive at Paracas city, we will make our way to El Chaco pier, from this place we will depart for the Ballestas Islands in modern boats. This activity consists of a boat ride so that you can see all the fauna of these islands: Sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black or guanay cormorants, flamingos, parihuanas and others.

Please note that no one disembarks on the Ballestas Islands to protect the ecosystem of this unique place.

Note: On rare occasions, high tides occur in Paracas. If this happens, for safety reasons, the Ballestas Islands will not be visited. However, the tour will continue with the other attractions in this excursion. This event occurs about three times a year.

Candelabro de Paracas — Chandelier

While beeing in the boats you will also be able to see this Chandelier—geoglyph that dates back to the pre-Columbian times located in the Paracas peninsula.

11:30 approx: Transfer to the city of Ica

12:30 approx: Lunch on your own in the city of Ica

In the city of Ica, your Guide will recommend you some restaurants— you will have some time for lunch.

14:00 approx: Pisco and Wine Tour

You will visit some wineries: Fundo Tres Esquinas and La Bodega Nietto where you will learn about the production of Pisco and wines in an artisanal way since 1856. On top of that, you will visit some chocolate shops and crafts. Shopping at wineries, handicrafts or chocolate shops is not mandatory.

15:30 approx: Transfer from Ica to the Huacachina Oasis

16:00 approx: Transfer from Huacachina to the dunes

After visiting the historic center, the bus will pass by this beautiful wildlife refuge located at the San Isidro neighborhood.

Sandboarding + Panoramic View of Huacachina

You can slide down on the sand by using the boards, you will also see panoramically the entire city of Huacachina located in the middle of the desert.

Stop in the city of Chincha — optional

The bus will make a stop in the city of Chincha where you can learn more about wines; this bus-top will happen when you are returning to Lima. If you are very tired by this time, you don’t have to get off the bus, this stop is totally optional, you are not obligated to buy anything at all.

Transfer back to Lima city

22:30 approx: End of tour

This tour ends at Larcomar in front of the Marriott hotel in Miraflores.
