Discover the ecological park of Rocks on Qauds, it’s located in the district of Alto Selva Alegre, ieal for adventure tourism lovers, it spans 2200 hectares of rock formations, many of which resemble zoomorphic figures. You can also observe lizards, viscachas, Andean foxes, snakes, and more.

Transfer from Arequipa to the entrance of the Chilina Valley
You will depart Arequipa city by bus towards the entrance to the Chilina Valley, the bus ride takes about 20 minutes. At this place you will have a tranning to drive correctly the ATV’s.
Quad tour in the Chilina Valley
After the training, you’ll begin riding the quad bikes, covering a distance of 14 km, with an estimated ride time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
During this tour, you’ll explore the Parque Ecológico de las Rocas, a breathtaking area spanning nearly 220 hectares of pure nature, featuring a stunning landscape and immense biodiversity of flora. This park is recognised as part of UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Additionally, you’ll make two extra stops to admire the Chilina Valley, the Charcani Hydroelectric Plant, and Arequipa’s most famous volcanoes: Chachani, Misti, and Pichu Pichu.
Transfer back to Arequipa city
After completing the entire route, you will board the tourist vehicle to return to Arequipa.
Ending place
This excursion ends in the historic center of Arequipa city, three blocks away from the main square. This tour doesn’t end at your hotel unless you book a private tour.
Keep in mind that the tour lasts approximately 3 h 30 min, including the time spent picking up passengers from their hotels.

Restrictions:
- People with reduced mobility.
- You can drive a quad bike from the age of 16.
- Children under 16 must ride a double quad bike with an adult.
- Maximum weight allowed: 100 kg per person.
- Maximum number of passengers per quad bike: 2 people.
- Maximum combined weight of pilot and co-pilot on a double quad: 150 kg.
- You don’t need a driver’s license to ride the Quads.
- Maximum speed: 45 km/h.

Pick-ups and timings
Group tours:
- Meeting and end times for tours are approximate.
- The meeting time will be arranged the day before your tour.
Private tours:
- Pick-ups are sharp on time.
- Pick-ups apply for all Cusco city.
- We’ll arrange all pick-ups one day prior your tour.
- The tour ending time is still aprox; but, we’ll do our best to finish the tour as scheduled.
Vehicle type and seats
Vehicles:
- Authorized by the Ministry of Transportation of Peru.
- Clean and modern ones.
- Sedan looking auto, 4×4, H1, Van, Renault and Mercedez Benz (it will depend on the group size).
Seats – group tours:
- You reserve a seat in the bus, not a specific number of seat.
- Couples seat together to 95%; however, we can’t warranty this will happen to 100%.
Operability and itinerary
