Check-in at the gate of MP
Your entry to Machu Picchu will be with your group and your professional guide. Don’t forget to bring your original passport; otherwise, you will not be allowed to enter Machu Picchu.

- The places you will see within the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu will depend on the type of ticket you have.
- Most tourists purchase Circuit 2: Ruta clásico diseñada o Ruta terraza inferior.
- If you have a different type of ticket, don’t worry — we have guides available for all routes.
Ending place
The guided tour of Machu Picchu ends within the ruins of the citadel. You will need to return to the town of Aguas Calientes on your own, either on foot or by bus.

Duration of bus trip: Aguas Calientes to MP ruins
- This bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes, but there is often a long queue, so you need to get to the bus station in advance.
- If your entry time to Machu Picchu is at 07:00, you must be at the bus station by 06:00 — at least one hour in advance.
- Make sure to buy your bus ticket: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu in advance.
Duration: Guided tour of MP
- The guided tours of the Machu Picchu circuits last approximately two to four hours, depending on the type of ticket you have.

Availability of group tours
- If you truly wish to join a group tour, we only have availability in the following time slots: 08:00 and 11:00 — this applies only for Ruta clásico diseñada or Ruta terraza inferior
- If you have other types of tickets, we recommend booking a private tour.

Language availability
The guided tours we offer at Machu Picchu are in Spanish and English — separate groups. If you would like guides in French, Portuguese, German or other languages, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of the tour is free as long as you do so at least 48 hours in advance, otherwise we will charge 100% of the tour price. See also our terms.
